What to Expect on Sundays
Service Info
What is a typical Sunday morning like?
We know that it can potentially be uncomfortable and awkward to visit a new church, especially if you haven’t been to church in a while. We promise, we’ll try to make it as easy and as simple as possible.
1. Arrive
Our Sunday worship gathering begins at 10:00am each week.
If you want to grab some coffee and chat a bit before the service begins, then feel free to arrive anytime between 9:35am and 9:50am.
Most people at our services are dressed casually, even for holidays.

2. Kids Check-in
For parents who are interested, we’d love to serve you by caring for your kids during the service. We offer childcare for kids 6 months old to 6 years old.
The safety of your children is a priority to us. All children and parents are checked in at the beginning and end of every service. Additionally, we require all of our volunteers to go through background checks.
For your convenience, you can pre-register your kids for this coming Sunday.

5. Communion
We believe every element of the Sunday morning worship service ought to point to Jesus Christ. All of our sermons examine one passage of Scripture, but the sermons have an accent on how the specific passage at-hand points to Christ; and each sermon flows directly into communion.
We use gluten-free unleavened bread to represent the body of Christ and we have both juice and wine as options to represent the blood of Christ.

6. Stick Around
We know that visiting a new church can be a bit overwhelming. But we hope to make it less so. You’ll find that the Members of Horizon City Church love being together.
Most of our folks are in no hurry to leave quickly. We hope you stick around too. Hopefully, you’ll meet some new friends and find some people to connect with.
Also, make plans to have lunch with us. Each week we designate a restaurant in the area to go to afterwards. We’d love to have you grab a bite to eat with us.
We’d love to have you with us!
Make plans to join us this coming Sunday. You never know what God might have in-store for you.
